Night Stinger’s First Boxing Foe

Night Stinger was told by her teacher not to make war with her student’s boyfriend. Her teacher said, “He comes from a big gang, and his name is Tony Brown. He and his gang carry guns. Your fist cannot stop a bullet.”

Night Stinger agreed with her teacher and left the chapel to find Tony Brown. She saw him entering into a restaurant by himself one night. Sabrina told him where he lived and showed her a picture of him. Night Stinger saw Tony leaving his house and followed him to the restaurant. She ordered food and had a bite to eat watching Tony from another table. This made Tony want to go over to Night Stinger’s table and talk to her seeing that she was alone. Night Stinger thought looking at him, “Yea, come on over.”

Tony Brown had some thoughts too. He thought, “Can’t mess with her. Sure is fine though, but looks too strong.” Tony did not like strong women. When he got finished eating, he left the restaurant.

The Night Stinger thought, “Yea, you’re not my type either, and you’re going to pay for what you did.” Night Stinger got up from the table, left a tip for the waitress, and went to follow Tony.

As Tony was walking home, he felt like somebody was following him. Night Stinger stayed hidden in the shadows in her boxing robe with her head covered. She did not wear it in the restaurant. When Tony looked behind him, there was nobody there as he walked down the cold, lonely, and dark alley. When Tony turned around, he got a big surprise. He felt something standing in front of him. It was a fist that moved as fast as lightening that punched him to the ground. Tony fell against some trash cans. As he got up, he started to pull out his gun, but he saw the Night Stinger in boxing position. Tony knew a little bit about boxing. So he decided he would save his bullets and see how much of a great fighter the Night Stinger was. Tony and the Night Stinger began to fight. Tony could throw hard and swift punches, but Night Stinger had a woman’s style and could move much swifter than he. She was very calm and Tony was angry and mad. Tony was a street fighter, but Night Stinger knew it all. The Night Stinger beat him so bad that she almost took his life. The whole time the Night Stinger fought him, she would not say a word. She did not want him to know that she was after him because of Sabrina. Night Stinger knew that he would try to get revenge if she left him alive. She left him alive because she was taught not to take a person’s life. Night Stinger disappeared in the fog and shadows.

A Hurt Student

The Night Stinger became very attached to her student. At first, she did not want to teach her boxing. Sometimes Night Stinger did not want anything to do with boxing. Night Stinger was not always in the mood for boxing. When her student, Sabrina, came to her with a sad story about how she was beaten by her jealous boyfriend, Night Stinger could not turn her away.

When Night Stinger taught Sabrina how to box, Sabrina was able to stand up to her boyfriend and was able to fight him back. This made her boyfriend very angry, and he ended up stabbing Sabrina and left her as dead in the street. However, Sabrina did not die. She was saved by Night Stinger who arrived just in time enough to get her to a hospital. Night Stinger stayed at the hospital for a few days and left Sabrina when she saw that she was going to make it. She left to go after Sabrina’s boyfriend, and she left very angry. Night Stinger rushed out of the hospital doors fast as lightning.

Now, Night Stinger had just learned how to control her anger hanging around the Grand Bee Chapel where she meditated and would practice during the day. It was day when she went after Sabrina’s boyfriend, Tony. Night Stinger fought crime in the dark where no one could easily see her, but this time, she did not care how she was seen.

Visiting the Grand Bee Chapel

The Night Stinger watched women struggle in man's world from a little girl. She watched her mother, grandmother, and other women on both sides of her family. As Night Stinger grew, she felt a struggle too. That made her feel the need to fight and to be strong. Night Stinger learned something from the women in her family. They were strong and were fighters. They never gave up, and they did not quit. The Night Stinger tried everything she could in life to avoid a hard life. It seemed that she had to face a lot of struggles until she remembered what she was taught by one of her grandmothers. Night Stinger was taught to pray and meditate. She learned that maybe that was the reason why her grandmother stayed healthy, strong, prosperous, and she lived to get so old. Night Stinger strayed away from religion, but she went back to it when she reached the age of 20. Then she grew stronger and stronger.

The Night Stinger would visit the “Grand Bee Chapel” to meditate, study, pray, and practice on her boxing. Boxing was a sport that the Night Stinger loved. She learned discipline at the chapel and how to control her anger. Learning discipline helped Night Stinger to be a stronger fighter than most of her opponents. The Grand Bee Chapel is a place that Night Stinger would visit during the day when she wanted to hide away in the shadows. Spending time at the chapel is how Night Stinger escaped to have time for herself. Sometimes she taught others how to fight, and at night, she was like a little savior fighting crime.

An Introduction

The Night Stinger is a character dedicated to Laila Ali who floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. I was inspired to create this character by watching Laila box.

My biggest inspiration is Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us that through God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). I believe in God the Father and Christ the Son and the Holy Ghost. The Bible tells us that we can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13). It's wonderful to believe in God. It is because of him that I have the talent to think, write, and create. Now, because I have the talent, that does not mean that I always use it in the right way. It is important to always ask God for guidance. He tells me to think positive.

As I watched my favorite boxing champion, I saw something good. Sometimes her fights looked bloody and mean, but boxing is only a sport. One day I saw a good person outside of the ring working with children on television. I believe that there is more to her than meets the eye. I see the Night Stinger who is a character that is a good samaritan and more.
